Application of liquid chromatography in defining the interaction of newly synthesized chalcones and related compounds with human serum albumin

Defining the interaction of newly synthesized compounds with plasma proteins is an important step in drug development process. Chromatographic techniques can be successfully used predicting biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic properties compounds. The aim this study to investigate isolate most molecular that affect 20 chalcones commercial (lopinavir, ritonavir, darunavir ivermectin) human serum albumin (HSA). retention behavior selected was tested on a CHIRALPAK?HSA column. A mixture phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) isopropanol (80:20(v/v)) as mobile phase, support vector method form QSRR model. Based obtained values parameters, it observed halogenated derivatives show strongest, methylated chalcone weakest HSA. By correlating physicochemical compounds, shown structural (SDSCH) electronic (MAXQ, EEM_F1) groups have greatest influence model applied prediction characteristics new, structurally related HSA stationary phase.
